Psycho-educational treatment group for men who feels that their sexual behaviour is out of control, destructive, and compulsive.

The goal of this treatment programme is to help participants to let go of unwanted addictive / compulsive sexual behaviours and to develop sexual behaviours of choice. Although the successful achievement of this cannot be guaranteed, research suggests that active participation in a group committed to recovery is an important component for successful recovery.
This is achieved by developing a greater understanding of the addiction cycle and how problematic behaviours were first set up. Using a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural techniques, participants will develop an individual model of healthy relationships and sexual functioning as well as a relapse prevention plan.
This treatment programme is meant to be complimentary to individual psychotherapy / counselling and / or twelve step recovery meetings. The aim of the group is to help people leave behind addictive / compulsive sexual and romantic behaviours and to learn to live sexually healthy lives.
The group will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants. The programme is made up of 24 sessions and one weekend.
Cost: £1,845.00 + VAT (payable in advance or in instalments).
